Edit: Wow a DD? I am so happy about that and i want to thank all people who made this possible and many, many thanks for the comments, the favorites and your support :D.

I still find spiders every now and than :3.
Found this little buddy last week when i was out for a walk.
It sat on a power Box and i took a few photos.
Sadly this is the only "good" looking photo.
It is still blurry :(.

The Spider was very afraid of me and tried to hide from me *sighs*
I dunno what kind of orb weaver it is, sorry ^^;
But i know it is a female. Isn't she just a beautiful, little girl? :3

The contrast between blue and orange is fantastic in Small orange orb weaver spider as TheFunnySpider captures the spider in a precarious position. The detail is excellent and the focus interesting as the photograph fades in and out of clarity. ( Featured by 3wyl )

Yes, I am horrified of spiders. I scream and run like a child when i see one. BUT! that doesn't mean i think they are horrible creatures. It's not their fault I'm allergic to their bites. This is a stunning picture. I almost thought it was 3d art at first. I was going to ask how long until i read the description. Keep up the wonderful work!

Awww thank you so much for the kind comment :3
And I know what you mean. Sometimes even I get a little
nervous when I work with the big spiders, since I don't know
how their venom would work on me ^^;.

I fully understand! Since i have had so many out breaks(Many leaving skin discoloration or bubbled scars) from bites i tend to avoid them unless they are in a nice little cage. lol When I moved to this new place there was a spider living above the staircase by my apartment. I called him Fred. I told fred to stay up there and I'd stay down here and everything would be all good. Lol sadly the people in charge of the area killed him after two months. He had beautiful webs and never seemed aggressive towards me or anyone for that matter.

Normally they are hiding in my shoes, or blankets. Some times in my clothing. We have a very large population of spiders in this area. Heck, one time i put my foot on the foot rest under my computer desk and got bit a second later.

Ouch. Man that sucks.
I had something like this when I have spend a week
at my uncle's in greece. We got the the same problem, only
with scorpions. But fortunately no one got bitten in that
time because we checked our shoes and everything else
before we used it

Killing spiders is a HUGE no-go!
Use a glas to take them out of the house or just leave it be, they are harmless!
But DON'T kill them. They have a right to live just like you and me!
They are even older than the dinosaurs. You should show some more respect to these wonderful creatures.

Spiders and arachnids in general get such a bad name!

They're so cute!

...As long as they aren't venomous and biting you

I know right? It disgust me so much when i search for some spiders in the internet and find threats with "How to kill spiders?" -_-
And actually all spiders are venomous, but only a handfull of them can be dangerous for humans ;)

Sometimes they do catch me off guard and I will admit I freak a little, but I just wait for them to go on their little spidery ways ^^

1) I love the fact that this is an actual well deserved DD, because...
2) The DD has a reason why it is a DD, and has bee D'd.... (So many "D's")
3) It's SOOO CUTTEE!!!
4) I love spiders. I'm still hoping that scientists will mutate a spider and give it wings, so that he may be my pet, so I shall have my revenge on my enemies :iconblushplz:
5) Totally agree with ^3wyl comment. The blur, the out of focus. But I think the word to describe this photo is "clarity"
6) Still waiting for the day spiders will finally grow wings :iconcutepoutplz:

Thank you and actually the blurr is normal because i photograph with a macro attachment and not with a pure macro lens (this stuff is too expensive for me ^^;).
The more the focal length the smaller the focus that is why most parts of the spider is blury ;)
